School Verse

"Do not let anyone
look down on you
because you are young,
but...
set an example for the believers in speech,
in life, in love, in faith
and in purity."

Malango School

The Malango School supported
the NTM missionaries in the
Island Region of PNG
in teaching their children.
In this way missionaries could reach out to the people in the tribes in sharing the good news, analyse their languages, start literacy classes and medical work and help as best they can.

Malango School - New Tribes Mission
Island Region - Papua New Guinea

What kind of a school?

Malango School was located on a small mission center. This special setting gives Malango School a family atmosphere.
Interaction between adults and students in the classroom and out in sport and other activities provided strong healthy relationships and a sense of security.

The school has been nurturing and educating missionary children since 1988. 2008 onward our program involved all grades 1 - 12.
Children from 6 different nationalities including local children, attended the school. This international blend adds a rich diversity as the students learn to appreciate different cultures and experience a variety of customs.

Malango School offered a Christian education, where students were taught godly values by people who love the Lord Jesus Christ. Students received individual attention due to the small class sizes. Students of all academic abilities gain from their teacher's one on one instruction.
The people who invested in our student's lifes were qualified teachers who have dedicated their lives to serving God.

Our "sister" school is Numonohi Christian Academy
